DESCRIPTION:Lethbridge Folk Club OPEN STAGE\n\n\n\nAlways on the 2nd Friday of the month September to May.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAll are welcome to the Lethbridge Folk Club’s ‘Open Stage’ evenings where we host local performing musicians and poets at McKillop United Church: 2329 15th Avenue South\, Lethbridge\, Alberta\n\nLethbridge Folk Club will provide to you at no cost a stage with sound facilities to perform some of your own music\,  music you have borrowed\, or poetry of your choice. As well as an eager and appreciative audience to listen and perhaps dance to your musical performance!\nEnter at the main entrance\, turn left\, and go up the stairs to the hall.  Donations are appreciated to help pay for the venue.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSupport Us Financially\n\n\n\n\nEven though we are an Alberta Nonprofit and not supposed to make money\, we can’t lose any either\, we’d be honored if you you help us defray some of our hard costs of this free event with a donation. Twenty two years into his career\, he shows no sign of slowing down.  In fact\, he appears to be gaining both momentum and a wider audience\, winning two 2023 Canadian Folk Music Awards for Solo Artist of the Year and Contemporary Album of the Year.
