DESCRIPTION:Join us for our open stage Friday March 13\, 2026\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nLethbridge Folk Club OPEN STAGE\n\n\n\nAlways on the 2nd Friday of the month September until May.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOur Open Stage Nights continue. \n\n\n\nJoin us to sing\, play\, hone your musical skills or just come and listen. \n\n\n\nAll are welcome to the Lethbridge Folk Club’s ‘Open Stage’ evenings\, where we host local performing musicians and poets at McKillop United Church Hall: 2329 15th Avenue South\, Lethbridge\, Alberta \n\n\n\nLethbridge Folk Club will provide you with a stage with sound facilities at no cost so that you can perform some of your own music\, music you have borrowed\, or poetry of your choice. You will also have an eager and appreciative audience to listen to and perhaps dance to your musical performance! \n\n\n\nThe dates for 2026 are: This Year’s Open Stage nights are on: \n\n\n\nMarch 13\, 2026\, \n\n\n\nApril 10\, 2026\, \n\n\n\nand May 8\, 2026 \n\n\n\nEnter at the main entrance\, turn left\, and go up the stairs to the hall.  Donations are appreciated to help pay for the venue. \n\n\n\nWe are looking for a $5.00 contribution to support our Open Stage program. Members $35 \n\n\n\n\n\nTickets for this event are available exclusively online until Feb 26th. After Feb 26th\, tickets will be available online and at our ticket partners: Analog Books\, Cuppers Coffee\, Theoretically Brewing\, and Casa. \n\n\n\n“With a repertoire reflecting their diverse musical backgrounds – from Canadiana\, east-coast kitchen parties\, country & blues to contemporary and traditional British folk – a Horizon Ridge concert brings you on a musical journey through tight\, four-part a cappella harmonies to intricate multi-instrumental arrangements – and always with an invitation to sing along.” \n\n\n\nTom Coxworth \n\n\n\nHost of CKUA “Folk Routes” \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nJoin our event on March 21st\, 2026\, at the Army Navy Air Force Veterans Club as we continue our fall season with Horizon Ridge. \n\n\n\nHorizon Ridge is a group of fine multi-instrumentalists and seasoned vocalists known for their intuitive\, tight harmonies and polished a cappella singing. \n\n\n\n\nBased in Calgary\, Alberta\, the band has entertained audiences at festivals\, music clubs\, events\, and concerts in Canada\, the US and the UK. \n\n\n\nHorizon Ridge is versatile and engaging with performances embracing traditional and contemporary folk\, country\, and roots. \n\n\n\nTheir albums Enough is all you need and Unison In Harmony feature a blend of original and favourite songs and showcase the band’s ability to move effortlessly through musical styles and genres.
