The Lethbridge Folk Club presents Lethbridge Porchfest A 1-day music festival with musicians performing on hosts’ front porches, or front lawns, turning the entire community into a free concert venue on Saturday August 29th, 2026
A grassroots, neighbourhood-based music festival where local musicians perform on residents’ front porches, front lawns, or driveways, turning the entire community into a walkable, free concert venue. This inaugural free event will take place in the historic London Road Neighbourhood and the Fleetwood areas of Lethbridge. There will be 6 concerts at 6 different homes over a staggered 7 1/2 -hour period. This will allow music patrons to move from concert to concert in a very leisurely, walkable manner or pick and choose which performances they’d like to stay for. There have already been 6 hosts who volunteered to host a concert on the front porches or in the yards. The event will culminate in a 1-hour wind-up concert at London Road’s Kinsmen Park.
Porchfest starts at 12:00 noon with our first Porch concert and continues until 8:30 pm, when our finale at Kinsmen Park winds up.
See what they did in Medicine Hat last year!
