Sures is a winner of numerous international songwriting contests. He has performed across Canada, in Beirut, Lebanon and Puerto Vallarta Mexico. Ben Sures is also the author of the children’s book ‘The Boy Who Walked Backwards published by The Manitoba First Nations Education Resource Centre.
Opening will be Karen Romanchuk “Romanchuk has a definite Lucinda Williams tinge to her world wearied voice. Her melodies are very memorable especially Blue, Blue, Heart. While dance isn’t the first thing you think about when hearing Karen Romanchuk’s latest CD, good music is. It is an enjoyable and upbeat listen.”… Richard Amery (L.A. Beat).
