Lethbridge Folk Club

John Hewitt is often considered one of the hardest working musicians in Alberta. Performing over 150 tour dates per year and releasing 2-3 full length albums in the process he is one of the most prolific songwriters on the scene. Keven Tolley is self taught and has taught Guitar in Lethbridge for many years. He has backed up such artists such as Bim, String band, the Wild Colonial Boys, Sid Marty, and Tommy Hunter. He’s currently performing with a group called MoonDawgs Bud Haycock started playing bass and guitar about 50 years ago and studied music at David Thompson University during the 80’s, with a focus on jazz guitar and bass. I played guitar in several different country and pop bands around Kamloops and then in Vancouver, before moving to Lethbridge in 1992, but have always preferred being a bassist. I played bass in a couple of local country bands for several years and now concentrate mostly on playing the upright in jazz, folk, and classical settings.
